Dr Villani has extensive experience building genetic models of disease, but more recently transitioned into a role translating genomics research knowledge into informed clinical practice. By focussing on non-coding variants and clinical application of experimental data, Dr Villani aims to increase diagnostic rates; concurrently improving genomic diagnostics practice while demonstrating the impact of knowledge translation.
